Creating Top-of-Funnel Traffic

Non-branded SEO customer acquisition was the name of the game. Inheriting a site with over 90% branded SEO traffic — we knew to hit client goals, we had to expand the number of indexing keywords to create more top-of-funnel traffic and improve indexing on the highly competitive industry terms.

Initial Strategy

Following an intensive technical audit — we shifted our focus to an aggressive long-tail keyword push in order to build domain authority and compete against larger retailers in the pet space.

How We Scaled

After we obtained new indexing on high-volume long tail terms, we began expanding the number of indexing pages and keywords to create more mid-funnel traffic to move new visitors through the funnel and acquire customers at significant ROI.
